Nexus One Two Three Four (2.3.4)

Updating the Nexus One

You guys like what I did with the title? Well you better! The Nexus One 2.3.4 update is OTA. If you can't wait your turn in lines of IMEI's than here is the solution for you!

  1. Download this.
  2. Rename file to update.zip. On windows it comes as a zip file so just name it update.
  3. Copy this file to your phones microSD card.
  4. Make sure your Nexus One is off.
  5. Hold down the trackball and power button.
  6. White Screen comes then an Android on a Skateboard
  7. Select Bootloader
  8. Select Recovery
  9. Your phone's going to reboot
  10. Press the power button and the volume up button at the same time.
  11. Use the trackball to maneuver over to apply sdcard: update.zip then sit back and relax for a few minutes.

Droid X, Droid 3 and many more...

motorola droid 3, droid x2 best buy

Read it and weep! Look at that! Best Buy is a sneaky little store isn't. The Droid X2 and Droid 3 are up there and any other names but in their model code which we do not know of yet. Verizon roadmap sure does show these phones should be in the inventory by now.

Crazy isn't it?

Wifi Calling Nexus One

T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling

We all hate the deadzones of America but, thanks to the wifi calling ability, this problem has been solved on most phones. The Nexus One, one of the most attention stealing android phone of this day, does not have wifi calling. Recently developer Forgiven has created that add-on. WOHOO! If you want to get away from those secret calling charges on the Nexus One, here is the website of Forgiven's add-on!

Tether apps Watch Out Your Being Tracked!

Remember those Nexus One Froyo free tether days? Well ever since November of 2010 you have to pay for tether on the Nexus One for T-mobile. Happy, no. At least we have PdaNet. Wait what? Looks like "this item is not available on your carrier." Looks like Verizon, T-mobile and AT&T figured out we were getting free tether usage. Sprint people are lucky but, count your days because free tethering could be gone!

Droid Charge Tuesday

Charge

Look! Look! The Charge is coming the Charge is coming! To be exact Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday! Costco most probably could have this device first even though a short time ago, a picture of the Charge was in many Wal-Mart stores.
